Occasionally, there is a need to add an Unknown person to an investigation who was not reported in the CPS Intake. Follow these steps.
From the Investigation Topics tab, click on the Investigation Persons link and the Investigation Persons List grid will display.
Click the Add Person button.
In the Person ID field, enter 999999. No results will be returned.
Click the Add Person button and the Person Basic screen will display.
Click Name Type*dropdown, select Reported.
Enter the First Name*= Unknown.
Enter the Last Name* = Unknown.
Select Gender if known.
Click Save. The Investigation Persons, Investigation Person List grid will display. Note: The newly established ‘Unknown Participant <id number>’ now has a select link, a Person ID and a delete link.
Click the Save button.
