Supervisors assigned to the CPS Case can change the track of a CPS Intake . The CPS Track can only be changed before it is linked to a Family Case.
You can change an Assessment to an Investigation.
You cannot change an Investigation to an Assessment.
You can change an Investigation to a Special Investigation.
Follow these steps to change the track for a CPS intake .
On the TFACTS Home Workload screen, select a CPS case. The Investigation Case Overview screen displays.
To select a CPS case:
Click the arrow to expand the CPS case.
Click Select to open the case.
Click the Investigation Topics tab and the Investigation Topics screen displays.
Click the Track Change link under Topics and the New Track Information screen displays.
Select a new track for the intake from the New Track drop-down.
Enter a detailed reason for changing the track in the Reason for Change* narrative box.
Enter the Assignment Begin Date and click Apply. The name of the Supervisor that initiated the Track Change populates in the Changed By field. The current date and time populates in the Date/Time field.
Click Save. You are returned to the Investigation Topics screen displays with the status of “Track Changed” next to the “Track Change” topic and with the new track displayed in the Header.
Click Close to return to the Home Workload screen.
