Note: Non-CPS Workers have Read Only access to CPS information. This will allow workers to view scanned documents and other information that are part of CPS cases. Please contact your Regional FCCR if you are unable to access this so that your user security can be checked or updated as needed.
CPS Documents are specific to each Assessment or Investigation Case. In order to find the information you need it’s helpful to know which Assessment of Investigation the information would be associated with, or to know the approximate date of the information and then look for cases that correspond to those dates.
From the Family Case, click the Investigations Linked link. The CPS cases linked to the family case will display.
Click the Investigation ID link in order to access the investigation into which the document was scanned.
The CPS Overview page displays. There are two additional tabs in view; Investigation Topics and Summary.
Click the Investigations Topics tab.
The Investigations Topics page displays.
Find the Documents link and the corresponding Count of Documents Scanned.
Click the Documents link.
The Document grid list displays. Additional details about the documents display in the grid.
Click the Document ID link to view that document.
Clicking the Document ID link opens another Tab in the browser window and the document is displayed as a PDF in the bottom left corner of the browser window. The choices that display are: Open, Always open in Adobe Reader, Open with system viewer, and Show in folder.
Choose Open and the document will open in another browser window in PDF format where all the choices available for PDF documents are accessible.
Each of the additional document windows can be closed by clicking the “x” associated with that window or to return to TFACTS and keep the windows open click anywhere on the TFACTS tab.
