Checklist Items

A Checklist contains a standard set of action items that need completed. The items must be completed within time frames as defined in DCS policies.

 

*Checklist Name - Enter a name for the Checklist (required)

 

  Columns displayed:

 

  waive reason – this is required if/when Waived in the New Status Column is selected. Type a reason for not completing if applicable.  

 

  New Status - Select Completed, Waived, or Not Applicable.

 

  Current Status – this column updates after clicking Apply or Save to reflect any entry made in the New Status column.

 

  Checklist Item Text – this column displays a standard action item that needs to be answered to complete the checklist

 

  Waived Justification Text – this column displays the narrative typed in the waive reason.

 

  Click Add Ad-Hoc Item to enter a custom action item to the checklist.

 

  Click delete to remove a custom ad-hoc action item from the checklist. If applicable

 

  Click Apply, Save, or Cancel

 

  Note: Checklists are not mandatory but can help as a work aid for completing all tasks.
