Service Details

On this screen you record the details of an organization's no-cost or standardized services. The State services administrator uses these costs to calculate the statewide budget ceiling for this service.

If a service becomes obsolete, you can flag it as obsolete on this screen. The system prevents you from marking the service as obsolete if it is currently being provided on an active case. Some services require Department approval before marking them as obsolete.

Click the Add Service Cost button to add a new service cost record for this service.

How do I...

Fields on this screen

Service ID	Displays "New" when you are first recording a service. After you save the service, the system generates the ID number for the record. Next time you view this record, this field displays the ID number.
Service Description	Enter a short description of the service. This description must be unique for active services within the Department.
Service Long Description	Enter a long description of the service. This description must be unique for active services with the Department.
Service Category	Select the category for the service.
Service Type	Select the type of service.
Obsolete Date	Enter the date when the service is obsolete, if applicable. The system validates that the service is no longer being used in an active case.
Minimum Age	Enter the minimum age for the child to receive the service.
Maximum Age	Enter the maximum age for the child to receive the service.
Unpaid Service	Check this box if the service is unpaid.
Placement Service	Check this box if the service is for placements.
