Child Protective Investigation Team (CPIT) Review CS- 0561

CS-0561 describes the details of Child Protective Investigative Team (CPIT) meetings. DCS coordinates at least one CPIT meeting in each county. The CPIT team conducts child protective investigations and supports and provides services to severely abused and sexually abused children as deemed by the team to be necessary and appropriate.

CS-0561 should complete investigation for each child victim/perpetrator relationship with respect of their allegations of sexual abuse or severe child abuse or a child fatality. One form should be completed for each allegation. CS-0561 is generated prior to the CPIT meeting.

User Entry Parameters

CPIT Convened Date (form #5)	Enter the date that the Child Protective Investigation Team was contacted regarding the investigation. Mandatory.
Child Advocacy Center (form #6)	Select the CAC that will be compiling some of the information on this referral.
CPIT Staffing Date (form #7)	Enter the date that a CPIT team meeting was initially held regarding this CPIT form.
Alleged Perpetrator	Select the alleged perpetrator. Mandatory.
Alleged Child Victim	Select the alleged child victim. Mandatory.
Allegations	Select the allegation. Mandatory.

Case tab > Workload tab, click case record ID > Case Overview screen, click Investigations Linked in the link menu > Investigation Overview screen > Investigation Topics screen, click the Forms/Reports link.
