Child Protective Investigation Team (CPIT) Review CS- 0561

CS-0561 describes the details of Child Protective Investigative Team (CPIT) meetings. DCS coordinates at least one CPIT meeting in each county. The CPIT team conducts child protective investigations and supports and provides services to severely abused and sexually abused children as deemed by the team to be necessary and appropriate.

CS-0561 should complete investigation for each child victim/perpetrator relationship with respect of their allegations of sexual abuse or severe child abuse or a child fatality. One form should be completed for each allegation. CS-0561 is generated prior to the CPIT meeting.
