Referral for Legal Representation
When the changes are made in recommended level of care and types of placements for a child/youth, then an appeal can be filed. An appeal can be filed by anyone, including but not limited to youth, parents, guardians, resource parents, residential providers, TennCare Consumer Advocates, and DCS workers. Appeals can also be filed for any health service, which has been denied, delayed, reduced, suspended, or terminated.
