SAFE Child-Specific Home Study
The "SAFE Child-Specific Home Study" form describes the information related to resource homes that is collected during the home study process. The form accumulates the information gathered during the home study of the applicant's home that are willing to become a foster parent, an adoptive parent, a foster adoptive parent, or resource family.
The form is generated for a specific group of children that are linked to this resource home. The home study process enables DCS to determine whether the resource home has the facilities needed or required by these children; henceforth, a decision for placement of children to this resource home can be taken.
