Immediate Protection Agreement

This screen displays the IPAs for the selected case. An IPA is required when the family cannot manage the current safety threats, and safety interventions must be implemented. An IPA is recorded for a specific safety assessment that has been entered for a case. An IPA can be discontinued when the family has stabilized and issues in the linked safety assessment are resolved.

Click select to view details of an IPA.

Click report to print the safety plan or a safety plan termination letter.

Click discontinue to end an IPA.  

Click delete to remove an IPA from the case.

Click document to scan documents for the IPA.

Click Add IPA to recorded a new IPA for the case.

**IMPORTANT NOTE:  IPAs can no longer be added  from this screen.  IPA information is now documented on the Person record and not on the family case.  Navigate to the Person Home Page of the child concerning.  In Quick Actions drop-down, select Add IPA.
