Match a resource service with a client

The resource match feature allows you to find resource homes and facilities which can satisfy the specific needs of a client. In a resource match, the system compares the authorized services and placement preferences of a resource to the specific needs of a client who needs placement. The system presents the matching resources so a worker can make the final selection based on further review of information. This process helps you find the most appropriate placement resources for a child.

Follow these steps to match a resource service with a client.

Open the Resource Match screen from one of these locations:
- From the Home screen, click Resource > Directory. Click Resource Match in the link menu.
- From the Placement Services screen, click match.
- From the Placement Referral screen, click match.
- From the Case Services screen, click match.
Complete the required search fields:

Resource Type
Service Category
Service Type
Service Description
Enter other search criteria if desired. Click Additional Search Criteria or Child Information to use more detailed criteria.
Click Search. The matching resources appear in the results grid.
(Optional) Click [score %] to view the individual match factors for a resource. The Match Score Information screen appears. Click Close to return to the Resource match screen.
(Optional) Click [resource name] to view the Resource Overview for the resource.
(Optional) Click Generate Map to view a map that displays all resource locations near the address for the child in focus.
(Optional) Select the check box for the resource you want to choose for the child, and then click Select. You are returned to the prior screen. The selected resource appears in the grist.
Click Close to return to the prior screen.
