Map child characteristics to placement preferences

Follow these steps to identify child characteristics for placement preferences.

1. From the Home screen, click Administration > Maintenance. The Team Search Criteria screen appears.

2. Click Characteristics Mapping in the link menu. The Placement Mapping Information screen appears.

3. Click Add Mapping to record a new child characteristics-to-placement preference association. The Placement Mapping Details screen appears.
   
   Click select to update an existing record.

4. In the Child Characteristic list, select the item that you want to associate with a placement preference.

5. In the Resource Home Placement Preference, select the item to map to the child characteristic.

6. In the Threshold list, select the limit on placement matches.

7. Click Save. You are returned to the Placement Mapping Information.
