Amend or correct a completed case recording
It is important that the system reflects an accurate case recording. If you discover an error in a completed case recording or want to add information, you can add an amendment or correction to the completed narrative. You can edit the original narrative of an activity in "draft" status, however.
Amend a completed case recording as follows:
From the Home screen, click the Case tab. The Case Workload screen appears.
Click the ID number link of the case you want to update. The Case Overview screen appears.
Click Case Recording in the link menu. The Case Recording Log screen appears. The top portion of the screen allows you to define the criteria for displaying the log items that have been recorded on this case. The log items are listed in the table.
Click the amend link next to the log item you want to update. If you do not see the item in the list, select filter criteria to limit the display, then click Filter. The Activity Details screen appears.
In the Narrative Details area, click Add Addendum. The Addendum Details screen appears.
Enter the addendum in the New Addendum box.
Click Save. You are returned to the Case Recording Details screen, where the new addendum appears in the Narrative History area.
Click Close. You are returned to the Case Recording Log screen.
