End a service for a case member

You end a service when it is no longer needed or has been provided. This action ensures that the case record accurately reflects services that have been identified and provided. You can end a service only when the status is "Provided." Once the service is ended, no further changes may be made to the service record. The system automatically updates the associated service authorization record.

End a service as follows:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Case tab. The Case Workload screen appears.

  2. Click the ID number link of the case you want to update. The Case Overview screen appears.

  3. Click Case Services in the link menu. The Case Services screen appears.

  4. If you are ending a service provided to a group of case members, click the Case Services Group tab. If you end the service on the Case Services Group screen, the system ends the service for each participant.   

  5. Click end service for the service you want to end. The End Service Details screen appears for the service record you selected.

  6. Complete the End Date and End Reason fields.

  7. Enter additional comments about ending the service.

  8. Click Save. The system ends the service and returns you to the Case Services screen.
