Record associated persons

Process: Record a case profile

Any person may have a connection to a case without being a case member or participant. These are known as associated persons. An individual cannot be an associated person and a case member in the same case at the same time. After associated persons are added to the case, you can select them as participants on certain work items later, if necessary.

Record associated persons for the case, as follows:

  1. On the Home Workload screen, locate and extract an ongoing family case.
  2. Click the Person icon.  Then Person Home Page will appear with Person Profile links.
  3. Click the Person Association link in the Person Profile.  The Person Association page will appear listing persons and their associations to the person..
  4. Click the Add button to record an association.  The Person Search Criteria page appears.
  5. Enter person information and click the Search button to search.  Is the person already in TFACTS?Click the Add Person button.  The Person Basic information screen will appear with multiple tabs
  6. Enter the information about the person and click Apply or Save.  Click Apply if there is more information to enter about this person.  Click the tabs at the top of the page to enter more information.

 

 

  1. Click the Associated Persons tab on the case profile screen. Any persons who have been added to the case as an associated person appear in the list.

  2. Click Person Search to locate the person profile you want to add as an associated person. Search for non-case members.

  3. Click the select link for the person. The Case Associated Person Details screen appears.

  4. In the Association list, select the person's association with this case.

  5. If necessary, add more details in the Description box.

  6. Click OK. You are returned to the Associated Persons tab.

  7. Click Save. You are returned the workload screen.
