Unlink companion cases

A case may be linked to another case as a companion case. If this link was made in error, you can remove the link.

Unlink companion cases as follows:

  1. From the Home screen, click the Case tab. The Case Workload screen appears.

  2. Click the case ID number link for the primary case you want to view. The Case Overview screen appears.

  3. Under Case Actions, click Linked/Associated Cases. The Linked Cases screen appears.

  4. (Optional) Click the [case ID] link to view the details for the linked case.

  5. Click unlink to unlink the case from the primary case.

  6. In the confirmation message, click OK. The two cases are no longer linked to each other.

  7. Click Close to return to the Case Overview screen.
