CANS - Violence
On this screen you answer the survey questions related to the child you selected on the CANS Participant(s) tab. The Definition area defines the meaning for each answer column in the survey.

If necessary, you can enter additional information about the answers in the narrative field. These comments are copied to the Family Functional Assessment (FFA) when the CANS assessment is approved.
After all parts of the survey are complete, the system calculates an assessment score. The narrative comments are not included in the scoring calculation.
