SIU - Strength and Risk/Safety Assessment
This screen displays the children and adults involved with the SIU Strength & Risk/Safety Assessment. The SIU assessment contains details the family environment details for an alleged child victim. The assessment also contains all the risk details and includes an overall risk assessment that indicates whether to pursue an investigation or take other action.
The Children and Adult tables indicate if hazards and language needs are associated with any of the participants, as follows:
[R] appears for any participant who is restricted.
[H] appears when a worker hazard has been indicated in the person’s profile record.
[L] appears when the need for an interpreter has been indicated in the person’s profile record.
Click Add Child to select an alleged child victim for the assessment. You can select more than one child in the same assessment.
Click Add Adult to select an alleged perpetrator. You can select more than one adult in the same assessment.
Click Approval to submit a complete assessment to the team leader for review. Once an SIU Strength & Risk/Safety Assessment has been approved, it can no longer be updated.
