Non-DCS Resource Information - Basic
On this screen you view or record basic details for a non-DCS resource. Non-DCS resources include non-residential resources and non-DCS placement services.
Non-residential resources – These are resources that support the child and family in their own home or in out-of-home care. These resources help acquire and purchase tangible goods and may also provide health, medical, mental, and tutoring services.
Non-DCS placement resources – These are resources that provide placement services but are not certified through DCS, such as hospitals and correctional facilities.
Details include the resource name, resource types, suspension history, and shared home agreements. For each resource type, you can view status details and transfer the resource to another organization.
A non-DCS resource is added to the system through the resource search process.

select – View or update the resource name information.
Add Name – Add a new name to the resource record.
reactivate – Activates a resource type record that was previously closed.
[resource type status] – View or update status information.
Add Type – Add a new type record for the resource.
select – View or update closed, hold or suspension records for the resource.
Add C/OH/SA – Add a closed, hold or suspension record for the resource.
