Record an activity log for a resource provider

As you work with a resource home provider you document the contacts you make with the resource and the associated activities. The activities you record include contacts with the parent, co-parent, other members, and children placed with the resource. Additionally, resource activity records are used to capture assessment visits, exit interviews, and RHET activities, amongst other activities. Any worker in the system can record an activity log for a resource. You do not need to be assigned to the resource to create an activity record.

After you save an activity log record, you cannot edit the details. If a saved record needs a correction, you can record a corrected narrative and append it to the existing log record. See Correct an activity log narrative.

If an activity log record in "Draft" status, you can modify and update the details until you are ready to save the record.

Follow these steps to record an activity log for a resource.

  1. From the Home screen, click the Resource tab. The Resource Home Workload screen appears.

  2. Click select for the resource you want to update. The Resource Overview screen appears.

  3. Click Activity Log in the link menu. The Activity Log screen appears.

  4. Click Add Activity Log to record a new activity log. The Activity Log Details screen appears.

    Click select to update an existing log in "Draft" status.

  5. Complete the fields on the screen. You must complete at least these fields:

    Recorded For
    Activity Begin Date
    Activity Type
    Narrative
    Activity Status

  6. Click Save. You are returned to the Activity Log screen.
