Record and establish participants in an investigation

Process Overview: Record an investigation

Follow these steps to establish the participants in an investigation.

  1. Click the Investigation Topics tab.

  2. Under Topics, click the Investigation Persons link. The Investigation Persons screen appears.

  3. To add participants to the investigation, click Add Persons. The Person Search screen appears.

  4. Enter search criteria to find the person record. Select the check box for the record you want to add to the investigation. The Investigation Person screen appears.

    If the person is not in the system, add the new person and select him or her for this investigation. The Investigation Person screen appears.

  5. Click the select link to complete the details about the person you added. The Investigation Person Details screen appears.

  6. If applicable, indicate whether drug use or other type of drug involvement are factors in the investigation.

  7. Click Save. You are returned to the Investigation Topics tab.

  8. Click Next Task> below to continue.
