Record service budget ceilings and budget details
As the State IV-E administrator, you establish ceilings for services offered by resources, generally for foster care and adoption subsidy services provided under Title IV-E. This ceiling is the maximum amount the State will reimburse the Department, or other applicable county, region, or provider for a service. Each year you compute ceilings based on the statewide average rates for all services and enter the results of your calculations into TFACTS.
After you record a budget ceiling you enter the budget details for the Service Ceiling, Authority Number, or Fund Source service category.
The system allows you to add a new ceiling and record the annual updates to the ceilings already in the system.
From the Home screen, click the Financial tab. The Service Search Criteria screen appears.
