Record an education profile

Process Overview

While you are recording the details for a work item, such as an intake, case, or resource, you can add a person to the system and record the person's education profile.

An education profile contains the details of schools a child has attended, his or her performance in school, and any special education needs. The education profile collects information about the child's school district, performance, attendance, and other details. See Education profiles.

Follow these steps to record an education profile for a person:

  1. Click the search header link to find the existing person record for the child.

  2. In the Person Overview screen, click the Education link. The Education Profile screen School Profile tab appears.Click the link in step 3 or click Next Task> below to continue.

  3. Record the schools the child attended.

  4. Record the child's academic performance.

  5. Record the child's suspension or expulsion from school.

  6. Record the child's special education information.
