Record medications

Process: Record a health profile

The health profile includes information about the medications the child takes or has taken in the past.

Record a child's medications as follows:

1. Click the Medication tab. The Medications screen appears.

2. To enter a medication, click Add Medication. The Medication Information screen appears.

3. Complete the fields on this screen, referring to the prescription, if necessary. You must complete at these fields to save the record:
   
   Category
   Dosage
   Name
   Unit of Measure
   Frequency
   Route
   Prescribed By
   Begin Date

4. Click the Informed Record Consent link to enter the person's consent information. In the Informed Consent screen , complete the fields and click Save. You are returned to the Medication Information screen.

5. Enter details into other fields as needed.

6. Click Save. You are returned to the Medication screen. The medication you added is listed on this screen.

7. If you need to record a review of psychotropic medications, click Psych Med Review. In the Psychotropic Medication Review screen , enter details for the review and click Save. You are returned to the Medication screen.  

8. Click Next Task> below to continue.
