Record psychosocial information

Process: Record a home study

Psychosocial information related to the applicant is collected during the home study process. This information provides way to determine a qualitative assessment of the home.

Follow these steps to record psychosocial information for the resource home.

  1. From the Home Study Topics screen, click the Psychosocial Inventory link. The Psychosocial Information screen Psychosocial Inventory tab appears.

  2. Click next to History and complete the information for the parent and co-parent.

  3. Click next to Personal Characteristics and complete the information for the parent.

  4. Click next to Marital/Domestic Partner Relationship and complete the information.

  5. Click next to Adoption Issues and complete the information.

  6. Click next to Sons/Daughters/Others Residing Or Frequently In Home and complete the information.

  7. Click next to Extended Family Relationships and complete the information.

  8. Click next to Physical/Social Environment and complete the information.

  9. Click next to General Parenting and complete the information.

  10. Click next to Specialized Parenting and complete the information.

  11. If necessary, complete the Psychosocial Evaluation Report.

    1. Click the Psychosocial Evaluation Report tab.

    2. Enter detailed narratives for the applicant in the History, Personal Characteristics, and Recommendation fields.

  12. Click Save. You are returned to the Home Study Topics screen.
