Update employee access to business processes
A business process controls the type of access users have for functions in TFACTS. A business process contains one or more security actions and associated objects, such as web pages, reports and links. The business processes are created for the system by the state development team.
The security actions are connected to user groups in the User Group Details screen when you create user groups. Any changes you make cascade into all user groups that can perform the listed actions.
Follow these steps to update the employee access permissions or other details for a business process.
From the Home screen, click Administration > Security. The User Search Criteria screen appears.
Click Security Profile in the link menu. The Business Processes screen appears.
Filter the list if necessary. The matching processes appear in the search results.
Click the select link to view a business process. The Business process Details screen appears.
Update the name and description of the process, if necessary.
Under Access Levels, check or uncheck the options that apply to this business process.
Click Objects to view the web pages, reports, and links associated with this process.
Click Save. You are returned to the Business Processes screen.
