Find a case record

Many users in TFACTS can view case records, even if they are not assigned to maintain specific cases. If you are not assigned to a case, use the general search tool to find a case record. You can open the general case search tool from the Home screen.

Follow these steps to find a case using the general search tool.

  1. Click the search header link. The search screen appears. See Find records in TFACTS for more assistance with the search screen.

  2. Click the Case Search tab. The Case Search screen appears.

  3. Enter search criteria for the case you want to view. The most efficient way to locate a case is to enter its case ID or other reference number.

  4. Click Search. The matching cases appear in the results grid.

  5. Click the select link to view case information. The Case Overview screen appears.

  6. Click a link in the Case Actions area to view details for the case.
