Enter supporting information for a family permanency plan

Process: Record a family permanency plan

You will now enter supporting information for the plan, such as reasons for involvement. Plans with custodial goals will also have to enter information regarding child support and EPSD&T information.

Follow these steps to enter supporting information.

  1. On the Permanency Plan Topics screen, click Supporting Information. The Supporting Information screen appears. For each goal participant with a custody goal, this screen displays questions about reasons for involvement, child support and EPSD&T status indicators that must be completed. For each goal participant with a noncustodial goal, this screen displays a question about reason for involvement.

  2. In the grid, click the select link for a question. The Support Information Details screen appears.

  3. In the Describe box, enter a detailed answer for the question or topic.

  4. Click Save. You are returned to the Supporting Information screen.

  5. For the EPSD&T indicators, click the select link. The Support Information Details for EPSD&T screen appears.

  6. Select the check box for each indicator, as appropriate.

  7. Enter the scheduled date of the EPSD&T appointment, if the appointment has not already been completed.

  8. Click Save, you are returned to the Supporting Information screen.

  9. Repeat steps 2 – 8 for each participant on the screen.

  10. Click Close. You are returned to the Permanency Plan Topics screen. The Status column indicates the status of this part of the plan.

  11. Click Next Task> below to continue.
