Adjudication Court Finding Details

On this screen you record the details for an adjudication or finding as a result of a court order. Court orders can include decisions made by the court specifying the actions DCS or the a case member must take, such as placing the child in custody, terminate a parent’s rights, finalize an adoption, and so on.

If the decision is to place the child in DCS custody, the details include the statements regarding "Best interest of the child" and "Reasonable efforts to prevent removal or achieve permanency."

If the adjudication type is delinquent or unruly, you must record at least one offense.

Click Add Offense to record an offense related to the adjudication type of delinquent or unruly.

Fields on this screen

Child Concerning	Select the child in the case for this adjudication record.
Adjudication Type	Select the type of adjudication.
Adjudication Date	Type or select the date of the adjudication.
Finding	Select the type of finding.
Finding Date	Type or select the date of the finding.
Comments	Enter additional information about the finding.
ASFA Adoption and Safe Families Act Court Order Language	For each statement, select Yes, No, or N/A to indicate the components of the court order. Different statements appear based on the type of fining selected.
