Confidential Court Report Information
This screen allows you to view a confidential court report or start a new report for the children in this adoption case. The screen displays only the children for whom an adoptive placement record has been completed.
This report is filed with the court and may include more than one child, but only if the children are in the same adoptive placement home and are being adopted together.
Once a confidential court report has been saved for a child, you cannot select that child again to create a new confidential court record, unless the child’s existing adoptive placement has been end-dated and a new placement record is created.
You can edit confidential court report until the court ruling has been recorded to indicate that the adoption was finalized. Once this legal action has been recorded, the system prevents any further updates to the report.
