Complete an inquiry and link it to a resource
Process: Record a resource inquiry
Once the decision of "Screen In - Application Received" has been recorded and the inquiry record is completed, you link the inquiry to a new or existing resource record.

The system does not accept two records for the same resource. That is, a resource may not be certified by more than one organization. |
Complete an inquiry and link it to a resource as follows:
Click the Resource Home Inquiry tab.
In the Inquiry List screen, all pending inquiries are listed under the Pending Inquiry section. Only those in Pending Approval status are ready to be linked to a resource record and will have an associated link hyperlink. Click the link hyperlink for the inquiry that is ready to be linked to a resource home. The Potential Resource Home Matches screen appears.
If the system has returned an existing resource home record for the home, choose the associated link option for that home. If the system has returned no matches, click Add New Resource Home.
The Resource Information screen Basic tab appears. The system transfers information from the inquiry record to the resource record.
Click Save. The inquiry is now linked with the resource home.
At this point, the home study process for the resource home can begin.
The inquiry is updated to Completed status, allowing no more updates.
