Review or update resource information for a home study

Process: Record a resource home study

Many details for a resource home were recorded during the initial resource inquiry. Complete the following steps to verify the inquiry information is correct.

  1. From the Home Study Topics screen, click the Basic Resource Home Information link. The Resource Information screen Basic tab appears. This tab displays the current name, resource type, C/OH/Sa records, and reference information.  

  2. On the Address/Contact tab, verify the address and contact information. Click the select links to view or update any of the associated records.

  3. On the Members tab, verify the active members and the marital status. To view or update a member's person information, click on their name, then click Person Profile. The tabs of the person profile appear, as follows:

    Basic
    tab: The social security number and date of birth should be completed.
    Demographics
    tab: The race, ethnicity, language, and marital status should be completed.
    Add'l
    tab: The highest level of education should be completed.
    Background and Safety Hazard
    information should be updated, as applicable.

    Click Apply to save any changes or Cancel or Close to exit.

    In the person profile, click Close on any tab to return to the Resource Information screen Members tab.

  4. On the Relationships tab, verify relationships of the members.

  5. On the Preferences tab, verify the child acceptance criteria.

  6. Click Save if you made updates or click Cancel if you did not make any updates. You are returned to the Home Study Topics screen. Click Close to exit.

  7. Click Resource Overview in the links menu and then click Close to exit the resource home record.
